Skimming for Sea Lions is an amateur only skimboard contest where all proceeds go to Pacific Marine Mammal Center, a non-profit organization in Laguna Beach. Their goal is to inspire ocean stewardship through animal rescue and rehabilitation, medical research, STEM education programs, and advocacy for a healthy ocean. In the contest, there are three divisions: Under 14, 14-18, and 19 & up. The contest will take place on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Aliso Creek Beach, Laguna Beach, CA.
